For its first fully authored residential interior in London, Poltrona Frau has shaped five residences at PRIVÉ, One Nine Elms — the landmark rising above the South Bank of the Thames. Furniture, lighting, accessories, materials and styling resolve into coherent homes, conceived to be lived in.
Furniture as architecture
The contribution goes far beyond the selection of individual pieces. Each residence is conceived as a coherent interior world — where furniture, lighting, accessories, materials and texture work together to express a specific way of living.
Art direction extends to every dimension of the space: wallpapers, custom curtains, curated artworks, bed linens, botanicals, books, and a full constellation of Beautilities accessories in Pelle Frau® leather.
Designed for someone who has not yet arrived
Each residence had to feel personal before being inhabited; lived-in before any life had been brought to it. The response was to let every space generate its own logic — built not around an imagined client, but around an imagined way of living.
The result is a collection of homes that feel at once curated and discovered.
This project expresses the same vision that has guided us since 1912 — that the spaces we inhabit shape the quality of our lives, and that creating them with care and integrity is a form of responsibility.
A living conversation
The selection is a quiet manifesto: pieces that have been part of the Poltrona Frau catalogue for decades sit alongside designs from the most recent collections.
Across all five residences, the Beautilities collection adds the layer of daily intimacy that distinguishes a furnished home from a styled one — leather baskets, cushions in Pelle Frau® leather, trays, vases and plaids. Objects that do not decorate a room, but inhabit it.
